How to memorize subjects easily & understand them completely

The Human brain has amazing potentials and has its own ways to store a content.Unlike a rigid computer's hardware, the nature of brain's storage is elastic. It can be extended as long as we wish. But there a few things that people had not yet known.Be it your school or college subject, a phone number or even the complete list of birthdays of your friends, your brain can store it all !

Actually your brain has stored everything that you have seen , touched , heard of or sensed. It stays in your sub-conscious memory.Your conscious

memory is not loaded with the information in your sub-conscious.By recollecting and dreaming, you link the contents of the subconscious brain to your conscious world. So what are the secrets behind memorizing subjects and easily understanding them ? Here are the top 3 ways to memorize or remember anything about a subject. Not only do we provide tips about memorizing,we also help you to increase your brain's understanding capacity.

1.Power of Association :

Orange! So what comes to your mind, when you see the word 'Orange' ? I am pretty sure that you have started to imagine an orange with a nice orange color and in fact you can even remember the taste and smell of orange. If we let our imaginations loose, we may remember Tropicana Orange juice , Pulpy Orange and whatever products  "associated" with it.Your brain "associates" things with one another and forms a network of thoughts. I've shown above the amazing ways in which brain relates an orange inside our head

Association of thoughts and objects in our brain.
So why am i telling you about an orange? I hope you would have understood the point. If you are studying a subject don't just "study" it! Associate what you study with real life objects.Think on them and imagine it in all dimensions. This way it will stay in your head for a long time.By this method you create "links" inside your brain to remember that particular subject content or question. To remember numbers, use mnemonics.Just give a character to a number. i.e, 1 stands for A , 2 stands for B and so on .. upto 9. Now to memorize that number, let's say 7621259654, i will have its alphabetic equivalent as GFBABEIFED (since 7 is 'G' , 6 is 'F' etc.).Looking at this bunch of letters doesn't make any sense. But,you can remember it as "gf Babe i fed" or any meaningful sentence. You can then decode it to the number. The aim is to create words that will associate this numbers easily in sequence.

2. Recall :

Now that you have created the 'links' inside your brain. You have to strengthen it . Any link or chain is useful only when it is made stronger. To strengthen your memory link, recall whatever you learnt in certain or random duration.A best method is to recall whatever you learnt is by glancing or saying the answer or even just thinking about the answer to that question in your head. This will strengthen your memory links and helps you remember even the toughest question / birth dates.
Mathematical formulas , scientific concepts , theories and events in school or college syllabus can be made simple by recalling them

3.Using Imagery & dimensions:

Picture what you read inside your mind.If the answer is about remembering an history essay just picture the events like a movie rather than just mugging it up.The same applies for science & logic.Think what you read in all possible ways.Do not think in one direction.Think randomly in all directions. You can think a same topic in different angles and question them.Remember,if you don't have any questions, there are only two possible reasons,1. You didn't understand it fully (or) 2. Reason 1.We can never understand a thing if we don't question it in our own way and seeking the answers for it. Always try to think in diagrams and know that the only powerful advantage of our human mind is that it can combine logic and imagination and use it one on another depending on the situation.Robots and computers can't do that (at least for now).

And always remember, none can remember everything in a day.It takes practice and perseverance if you want to remember things in the long run. You have to train your brain like an athlete.A good training will boost your memory organization. Finally make it your habit.
