Basically there is no pass mark for internal marks and assessment marks are calculated out of 20.Always keep in mind that your target should be 14 marks in the internals (atleast).This will keep you on the safer side.The examiner will try to correct your paper and bring it to the mark of 45 in Anna university semester exam. However not all teachers might do it! So be cautious & write well.So to know how much marks you need to pass Anna university exam

Multiply your theory mark with 0.8
Add the resultant mark with internals
If final mark greater than or equal to 50 you passed the examination !! :)
